  • North Stars Game Friday December 19, 2014 - 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Civic Centre
    Friday, Dec. 19 – The North Stars play the first of two games in two nights against one of the league’s top teams in the Flin Flon Bombers and during those two games, the North Stars are hoping to see plenty of fans out and help raise funds and awareness for new the Battlefords Trade and Education Centre. This game is the first of two ticket redemption nights of the season for the North Stars. This allows anyone with unused season tickets from previous games to use them for admission at the door. The North Stars will also have their annual Gingerbread House Auction. The players will create gingerbread houses and they will be up for silent auction with part of the proceeds going towards the My Community Cares Campaign. The silent auction will close after the second intermission. Also to help raise money, there will be a Loraas Recycle Bin placed outside the Civic Centre during both games. All donations will go towards the My Community Cares Campaign. It is also the second Kramer Auction Shootout Showdown. Ten players and a goalie will be auctioned off in the Prism Cable Hot Stove Lounge during the intermissions. Those players will compete in a shootout after the game and the purchaser of the shootout winner will win half the cash from the auction. Finally, Silvester RV Centre is the game-day sponsor.

  • North Stars Game Saturday December 20, 2014 - 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Civic Centre
    Saturday, Dec. 20 – The Battlefords North Stars finish off the 2014-portion of their schedule against the Bombers. North Battleford Hyundai will be the game-day sponsor. This will be the North Stars’ Wing Night, which is sponsors by Brendon Boothman of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. Wings will be provided from Blend Restaurant and Bar. The North Stars also plan to pass a skate around each section in the rink and collect donations for the new BTEC Building during the second period of the game. There will be a second intermission Puck Toss with all the money raised also going to the campaign. After the game in the lounge, the Battlefords North Stars will hold a Players Community Auction with the help of Kramer Auction Sales. All the North Stars will be up for auction and can be purchased to work at local businesses, help promote sales or record radio ads, make public appearances, go on the ice for hockey practice or skate with fans or other options approved by the Battlefords North Stars. The players will be available for four(4) hours from either 1 to 5 p.m. or 5 to 9 p.m. on January 6, 14 or 28. There will also be door prizes drawn after the game and winners will need to be in attendance to win.
